We are looking for a diligent and highly driven Business Development Executive to join our Commercial Team at Expedition42. In this role, you will be focusing on client attraction efforts for Talexio, reporting directly to our Head of Commercial, and your duties will include:  

  • Understanding the company's strategy, directions, and values. 
  • Forming an integral part of the Business Development team to develop and implement client-focused strategies. 
  • Designing and leading lead generation initiatives for the company in line with company objectives.
  • Hunting new clients and maximising market connections to build and maintain strong relationships. 
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and business pitches to prospective and existing clients, and execute inbound trials and queries as necessary.
  • Assisting in the organisation's daily sales process and activities as well as acquiring new customers, whilst building and maintaining relationships with existing clients. 
  • Other ad hoc duties that may arise, including drafting business proposals and contracts, updating the company’s CRM system and administrative duties among others.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales or Business Development, ideally with exposure to the Maltese market

  • Experience using ZenDesk or other CRM systems will be considered an asset

  • Experience in selling software solutions or possessing exposure to the world of HR will be considered an asset.
